When your skip is full, we take it away and responsibly dispose of the contents, a large proportion of it being recycled.
Our skip rental clients can choose between a wide range of skip sizes, depending on how much waste they have to dispose of and the location where the skip will have to be located. We’re happy to advise on the most suitable skip for your purposes, whether domestic or commercial.

What You Can’t You Put into a Skip
There are some items which by law can’t be thrown away in a skip, most of them involving hazardous chemicals. Examples are asbestos, gas cylinders, tyres, electrical equipment, paint and animal waste. At Western Skip Hire we are licenced to dispose of asbestos in separate skips in a safe, legal and compliant way.
If you have any doubts about the acceptability of your waste don’t hesitate to ask us. We can also assist you with expert advice on how to dispose of hazardous waste that can’t go into a skip.
Permission for Placement of a Skip
Permission for placement of a skip on a road is essential. Here at Western Skip Hire Ltd we are fully licenced to do this and can make the necessary arrangements for you.
Filling the Skip
On each skip there is a load level marker – the skip must not be filled past this point for safety during transportation. If this level is exceeded removal of the skip may not be possible.
Western Skip Hire also have available a DAF Johnson Road Sweeper – ideal for keeping roads clean and gulley’s empty. Competitive rates available.
